They go by different names, but make no mistake, they are the same company and they have monopolized the trash disposal business in North County. If you are a homeowner in Escondido, you can't call anyone else to pick up your trash. Its Escondido Disposal or just letting the trash pile up. If you call EDCO, they will tell you that they are not allowed to pickup in the city. But then if you are just outside the city limits of Escondido, and youu call Escondido Disposal, they will tell you that they are not allowed to service that area because it is handled exclusively by EDCO.

If you have a problem with EDCO, then you are out of luck.Of Course, no one volunteers that both EDCO and Escondido Disposal are one and the same.
